Guide to the Perfect Library Look

My Semester Exams are this week, and recently I have been spending a lot a time in the library of my local college getting prepared for them! When I'm studying I like to be super comfortable, while still looking put together. Above is a guide to the perfect library look that is cozy, but still stylish.

I start out with a comfy t-shirt, usually oversized. It depends on the weather, but usually I opt for a long sleeve shirt because the library can be pretty chilly.

Next, I usually wear leggings or yoga pants because of the warmth factor. The weather in my town changes drastically every day, so one minute it's freezing and the next it feels like Summer. On those warmer I wear nike shorts.

After that, I grab a cozy vest, sweatshirt, or pullover. I like to dress in layers because in the morning it may be 40 degrees and rainy, and by lunch time it's 75 and sunny. Also, I have noticed that when it's cold outside, people tend to turn up the heat too high inside. Layers are the perfect solution to these problems because you can add or take off layers as needed. I love vests, and the work perfectly with a long sleeve t-shirt in mildly cool weather, but when it gets really cold I usually wear a crew neck sweatshirt or my Patagonia pullover.

For my shoes, I will either wear tennis shoes or Bean Boots -whichever goes with my outfit.

Sometimes I will wear a baseball cap, it just depends on if I'm having a good or bad hair day!

Lastly, I grab my backpack, my MacBook, and either a coffee, water, or diet coke and head off to the library!

P.S. College libraries are practically deserted now because all of the students are on break, so if you happen to live near one, they are the perfect place to study!
